'In Between Green and Grey' (2026) is my new video artwork commissioned by Arena for Journalism in Europe. It will premiere at the 25th Anniversary Exhibition, 'Knowledge in a Fractured World', for the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) at the University of Cambridge.
This is a digital narrative game about the surveillance state and its use of emerging technologies. Specifically, how might they be used to disproportionately monitor marginalised communities in our neighbourhoods and worsen existing social injustices?
I presented my accepted paper at EASST2026 this year, which was hosted in Krakow, Poland. I spoke in the Tuesday 8 September, 10:00-11:30 panel 'Infrastructures of governance: Power and assemblages in the data-driven state' convened by Jonas Breuer (University of Amsterdam) who chaired alongside Carina R. Nasser (University of Amsterdam), both of the DATAGOV project at the University of Amsterdam.
My presentation as SOUNDSCALE's Research Fellow is titled 'An Investigative Arts approach to emerging technology research as neighbours in research: the case of distributed acoustic sensing (DAS)'
As a Huayu Enrichment Scholarship recipient, I studied an intensive Mandarin programme at the Chinese Language Division, National Taiwan University
I delivered a lecture to third year BA Fine Art students about developing a professional art practice, followed by a workshop to design their own artist-led workshops
I delivered a lecture introducing environmental issues relating to digital media infrastructures, titled 'Computing infrastructures: Climate Justice Through Digital Media'
Discussing climate, geology, and atmospheres with geoscientist Dr Josh Wolstenholme, we will respond to artists Sue Palmer and Sheila Ghelani's performance and research.
I will present on some of my activities as Artist in Residence at Heritage for Global Challenges Research Centre, Department of Archaeology, University of York.
I have now joined the interdisciplinary team to approach the citizen-centric, responsible research and development of the emerging technology of Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS).
I will lead a locket making workshop to playfully consider research as a practice for memory making and archiving for the future. It will prompt a refocusing of research, in a time of global uncertainties and polarities, as a channel to nurture hope. I will also deliver a presentation and join a panel talk with other ambassadors to discuss the symposium's key questions on speculation and research.
I led an iteration of my Weathered Radio ecological sound workshop and gave a presentation on forestscapes' methodologies with sound and my research into climate and conflict.
I returned as a mentor for CIVIC SQUARE's Re:Assemble, hosted at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales. The peer learning gathering aims to build our collective capacity and resilience through connection, collaboration and exchange at a time of increasing pressure and compounding crises. (June 6, 2025 → June 9, 2025)

I am supervising ten students on the MA Global Media Management / Digital Media programme on their Final Project dissertations at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. My supervision focuses on media studies, with students writing within game, film and social media studies, using content, textual and interface analyses. (June 1, 2025 → October 1, 2025)
forestscapes exhibited a Listening Lab at the "More-than-human mappings" Livingmaps Network Conference between 24-26th April 2025 at Senate House in London.
We organised a forestscapes listening lab at Science Gallery London, as part of Pulse of the Planet on 21st March 2025 from 6.30pm.
I participated in an online workshop with researchers in microbes, food health and safety and arts organised as part of Dr Paul Hurley's research at University of Southampton.
My talk will explore using creative digital tools and interdisciplinary methods in my current projects, “Critiquing a ‘sustainable military’” and “A Brief History of “Climate Tech”.
I moderated a participant subgroup for this workshop's power-mapping activities.
